Intelligent discontent is the mainspring of civilization. Progress is born of agitation. It is agitation or stagnation.

What is your most prized accomplishment?

Becoming the first attorney in my family.

Describe how you came to be where you are today.

I attended Missouri Girls State in high school and took the law class because the journalism class was full. Thankfully, that experience led me to pursue law school. During law school, I developed an interest in labor and employment law because work is the place where people spend the majority of their life, so workers’ rights have a critical role in shaping everyday life.

Why are you the best at what you do?

Tenacity and curiosity have helped me get to where I am today. I view every challenge as an opportunity to learn something new.

Share something about your personal life.

As a former theatre kid, I enjoy live theatre and reading stage plays.

Do you have a favorite quote?

“Trial by jury in civil cases is as essential to secure the liberty of the people as any one of the pre-existent rights of nature.” - James Madison

Why is your job rewarding?

Being a voice for others and achieving meaningful results for my clients.
