Share something about your personal life.
I am the proud father of two wonderful young men, Conner and Luke, a fisherman, a hiker, Kansas City Chiefs and Royals fan, a cook and the owner of a giant spotted cat. I live with the most amazing woman in the world who makes sure that I remain humble and busy. I have a family full of aspiring comedians and great friends to enjoy time with on the weekends.
Describe how you came to be where you are today.
My parents taught me to keep an open mind. Over the years that lesson contributed greatly to the person I am today. As an injury lawyer, I must set aside my bias and see the pain and injustice experienced by my clients through their eyes. I believe understanding the depth of another’s misfortune is the key to obtaining the relief they seek.
Did you always want to be an attorney?
Before earning my law degree, I worked as a sales and service manager for a local construction equipment component repair shop. The attorneys I knew in my former life left a lasting impression on me. They carried themselves in a very dignified manner and their legal skills were unmistakable. I always wanted to be that kind of attorney. I work hard every day to uphold the high standards of my profession and emulate the qualities that make the “good ones” successful.
